National Lottery Community Fund: A Lifeline for Shanti Aid's Continued Efforts

Once again, the support of the National Lottery Community Fund has proven to be a beacon of hope for Shanti Aid and the communities we serve. This time, their generosity has enabled us to provide essential food parcels to 27 service users and 26 children, ensuring that no one goes without during these trying times.

The contents of these food parcels have been meticulously curated to meet the diverse needs of our beneficiaries. From treats like chocolates and cakes to staple items such as rice, bread, and noodles, each item serves as a vital component in creating nourishing meals for individuals and families.

Fresh produce including grapes, pears, oranges, and cucumber adds a healthy component to our food parcels, while tinned fruits provide convenience and longevity. Essentials like carrots, garlic & ginger paste, and a variety of soups contribute to well-rounded and satisfying meals.

Furthermore, the parcels contain household essentials such as non-bio washing powder, non-bio fabric conditioner, and toilet paper – items that are often overlooked but are crucial for maintaining hygiene and dignity.
